3rd Edition – Barcelona 2003
2003 – BRASILNOAR FESTIVAL – 3º BRAZILIAN NEW ART INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
On its 3rd edition held in 2003, the Festival was held in two days and in two different concert halls (1 day in Sala Cibeles and 1 day in La Paloma) with more than 3 thousand people as public.

MUSIC
–Trio Virgulino (Web) – is the main trio of Forró in Brazil and made a historic show at the Festival.
–Papangú – popular Brazilian rhythms mixed with current music and Rock.
–Nego Kbça – Forró, Samba-Rock and Manguebit making contemporary Brazilian music.
–Dj Erik Caramelo – a leading Brazilian producer of electronic music like Techno and Techouse.
–DJ Roberio Pitanga (Dj Afronome) (Myspace) – responsible of the introduction of many Brazilian rhythms in Barcelona, as Forró, Coco, Maracatu, Samba-Rock or Funk Carioca.

PLASTIC ART
–Goncílio Correa Jr. – series with 5 works in oil on canvas and 1 in latex on wood.
–Diego Pitanga – installation using various techniques.
–Cristina Pessoa – installation using various techniques.

–Tatiana Franchi (Flickr) – exposed silver rings with a mixture of metals and semi-precious stones.

–Marcelo Pallotta – presented its exposure in Polaroid, entitled “O choro da cidade” (The cry of the city).
–Rodrigo Zanoto – his slide presentation consists of going further of the individual look.

–Abadá Capoeira–Barcelona (Web) – currently one of the major broadcasting of Brazilian culture abroad.
–Leticia Borges – dancer since a child, improvised with ballet, jazz and contemporary dance.
