4th Edition – Barcelona 2004
2004 – BRASILNOAR FESTIVAL – 4º BRAZILIAN NEW ART INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
In 2004 the BrasilNoar Festival has consolidated itself as one of the most important festivals of Brazilian culture throughout the world.
With a schedule of activities lasting for more than a month, consisting of bands, DJ’s, photographic and fine art exhibitions, film exhibitions, courses and conferences, the Festival presented over 150 artists getting an influx of public of more than 6.000.
The concerts, performances and short films were exhibited in the concert hall La Paloma and the BrasilNoar Exhibition was held in the gallery Dels Angels, with photography, video art and plastic art.

–XRS (BRASIL) (Myspace) – dj and composer, Xerxes de Oliveira is currently one of the most important producers of Brazilian drum’n’bass.

–B Negão & Os Seletores de Frequência (Myspace) – fusion of Hiphop with Samba, Funk and Dub from Rio de Janeiro. Launched its first album called “Enxugando gelo”.

–Dj Roberio Pitanga (Dj Afronome) (Myspace) – with Batucada, Samba-Rock, Funk, Hiphop, Manguebeat, and Brazilian Drum’n'Bass.
–Djon – with House, Tribal and avant-garde Electronic music.
–Dj Djiiva (Myspace) – mixture of roots rhythms with Brazilian beats from around the world.
