–Daniel Cronfli – project “Enquanto o tempo dorme” (As long as the times sleep).
In Bahia, in the heady time it is allowed to rest.
This is where you forget the work goes slowly and thus win all the colours, one by one. Distracted, one can feel the sun beating on the face, a deep breath, pull in the sand, plunging into the sea and sleeps in the shade.
That is why, at this point, everyone has the power to enjoy every second of the way it should. Here, time is always taking a nap.

–Fernanda–Pitanga – “Sonrisas do Bombay” – (Smiles of Bombay)
“Sonrisas do Bombay” was founded by Spanish journalist Jaume Sanllorente, who, after numerous trips to India and see up close the needs of Bombay, especially of those untouchable and descastados, decided to quit his job and invest his savings in condition a small orphanage in the area of Thane, embarking on a peaceful struggle against poverty in Mumbai which continues day after day.
“Get to know these creatures has been a change in my life. From the first contact with James and his “big family”, sensed that there are still people who care about others. In this case I speak of Jaume, a person with an impressive inner strength, it has come from the streets of India to over 2,200 children and has given them the opportunity to go to school, have a roof, food and a family. I visited the school that has been built for these kids and I was delighted! At that time it was a week left to start classes and I saw they were all excited to see reach the big day. The first day of class! Very exciting. In the very near future I hope to be with them again and see their smiles still on their precious emoticons! Congratulations Bombay Oceanography and keep doing this work so nice with these children. And from now I will speak to everyone of you!”

–Fabio Feijó – project “Paisaje posible” – (Possible landscape)
The series of photos that the Brazilian photographer Fabio Abreu Feijó shows suggests a possible reading of open spaces and landscapes within the city of Barcelona.
The photographer’s intention is not to simply recant sights or record scenes of everyday people, but to create a new perspective of looking towards the city. The idea of representing and re–interpret spaces is very widespread in the history of photography. In fact the picture was “born” in big cities and the office of the photographer can also be understood as a cartographer, who toured the space, and delimits the records. In this series the delimitation tends to expand. The edges and frames disappear. The table grows. The buildings, houses and streets are confused with the topography; the human figure is almost absent. The sky takes exaggerated proportions within the composition of the images to have it as a possible participant in the daily experience – and photographic, why not?
Possible landscape; ¿sequence of non–landscape, assembly, sky, city?

–Raphael Dias – project “Cenários de um Brasil” (Scenarios of a Brazil)
Brazil, father of forests, very green as its flag and as its vast extension.
Country that covers a large part of the coast of South America.
Blended of art, misery and worrying, however, with a lot of faith.
Strange country, renowned for having many different characteristics.
Here, in “scenarios of a Brazil” brief tests of facets are presented of a country that does not have a single face, and indeed many. Sublime and extreme in all its aspects.

–Lepesteur Jorge, Julio Kohl, Marcos Villas Boas, Antonio Brasiliana, Marcelo Naddeo and Tiago Gracindo – project “Silêncio” (Silence).
The passion for skateboarding and the fascination for the opportunity to spend hours watching the many configurations of an urban city like Sao Paulo.
The images have a simple and pure aesthetics. Each photograph shows a unique moment of reflection, observation and assimilation of the city of Sao Paulo. Images slow in everything that moves, quick images of almost anything that does not move, movement and immobility. A brute reality as it is recorded by the camera, a reality distorted by our memories and false calculations, the meaning of silence.

–Luiz Oliveira – project “Skate, paint or die.”
Asphalt, concrete, night aroma, narrow streets, falls, adrenaline, fall, fall and rise again, live today, pain and blood; tomorrow spray, highlighter and the ephemeral way… skate or die. The original idea belongs to Luiz, several artists meet with the same concept, skate, this time the commitment is collective, mixed techniques, the same support, different interpretations.

–Mateus Sat – “Formas e cores” (Shapes and colours).
As the title suggests, the photos prioritize the colours and shapes that are found on the bodies and robes of the participants in the popular culture of the state of Pernambuco. The images are the result of the relationship between the author and a PLEC–PLEC (disposable camera). This camera has a very bad lens and a plastic mask that simulates a panoramic picture. Due to lack of resources it has a sophisticated optical texture, colour and very particular approach. The result is an image different from that currently produced in the digital world.

On a certain day, after an exhaustive training, Tachibana stops to rest and went into a deep sleep, where she fought with a black dragon, and despite having everything, could not kill him … Tachibana woke confused and she realized that, in reality, no one is invincible, and can not always win, no matter how clever … From there on she took a different position, becoming a good mother and wife, becoming an expert on other issues that not only fight.

–Isaias Belo – project “Primitividade” (Primitive).
This exhibition shows the result of years of work after the artist Francisco Brennand in the composition of the Temple of Sacrifice, which describes the horrors of war that decimated the Indians in Peru. The uniqueness of this work is that the documentation was done in pinhole. The aesthetic result is impressive because the photographer develops a dialogue between the material of the positives and negatives of the pictures, in addition to working with overlapping images, a technical permitted by the pinhole. “Primitividade” is also shown to offer a look at the reality of Francisco Brennand, and the relationship that develops with the artist members of his workshop, in photographs taken during the day of its daily creation.
